Full or Part time Utility Operators

 

Bowen Island Municipality seeks full-time/part-time Utility Operators.  These positions will primarily be responsible for the operations and maintenance of the Municipality’s Utility Systems, (water and sewer).  Additional labour tasks will be required under these positions such as roads maintenance and assisting other staff with the Municipality’s docks, and buildings. These positions will require that the operators interact in a courteous manner with the public. 

 

Operators will be comfortable working outside under varying weather conditions, have the ability to work under supervision on a task-oriented basis, and hold a valid class 5 drivers license.  Related experience will be considered an asset.
