Appointment of Interim Chief Administrative Officer

On behalf of Mayor Adelaar and Council, I am pleased to announce that at the February 13, 2012 Closed meeting, Council appointed Kathy Lalonde as Interim Chief Administrative Officer for Bowen Island Municipality, effective March 1, 2012.

Kathy Lalonde is the most senior director with the municipality and has been with the Municipality since March of 2000.  In her role as Corporate Officer, Kathy has been closely aligned with the activities of the CAO position.  This will serve the municipality well during the transition to filling the CAO position on a permanent basis.
