Beach Water Quality Warning for Mothers Beach

The June 15, 2009 water quality test for Mothers Beach came in above the allowable range therefore the risk of acquiring an infection has increased. However, the geometric mean for the last 30 days is still within the allowable range of 200 coliforms/100ml.

Water samples for 6 Bowen Island Beaches are taken on Mondays and sent to BCAT for analysis. Upon receipt of the weekly readings the Bowen Island website is updated. This information may be located under - ‘Island Info’ – ‘Residents’ – ‘Parks’.
