The Hood Point Water System Local Advisory Committee is a sub-committee of the Municipal Council. It has advisory powers to Council regarding water system issues, and also reviews the operating and capital budgets for the utility.
The committee currently consists of the following members:

- Robert Sangster
- Mike Shields
The committee meets quarterly, and all meetings are open to the public.
